The compact commentary is now in its 5th edition and includes a comprehensive commentary on the new Federal Act on Foreign Nationals and Integration (BüG), explanations on the entire Foreign Nationals Act (AuG) and the Asylum Act (AsylG) – particularly regarding the changes to the AuG that came into effect on January 1, 2019. Additionally, it provides commentary on the Penal Code articles that implement the expulsion article of the Federal Constitution (BV), discussions on the relevant provisions of the BV, the European Convention on Human Rights (EMRK), and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, as well as commentary on all practice-relevant articles of the Free Movement of Persons Agreement (FZA) along with appendices, the Swiss regulation related to it, and notes on the case law and interpretation of the central provisions of the agreement. It also presents the framework of accompanying measures and includes numerous other regulations related to migration law.
