Migration und Gegenwartsliteratur

The articles in this volume illustrate and theoretically discuss the broad spectrum of current migration literature by authors from Eastern Europe in German-speaking countries.Migration plays an important role in contemporary literature. On the one hand, it is a subject that reflects important changes in society in terms of content; on the other hand, it also manifests itself in linguistic-formal characteristics. Because the authors of this literature usually have migration experiences themselves, they not infrequently bring with them a second language background in addition to the view from the outside. This, like the content-related aspects, has an impact on the literary texts. The articles in this volume reflect on theoretical questions as well as individual works by Maxim Biller, Olga Martynova, Terézia Mora, Matthias Nawrat, Katja Petrowskaja, Julya Rabinowich and Anna Zonová, among others.
