Migranten - ihre Zugänge zur Landwirtschaft in Österreich

This work connects migration with agriculture in Austria and places it in the context of agricultural vocational schools and higher agricultural schools. Through scientific research and empirical surveys conducted among 4th-grade students in Vienna, Lower Austria, and Burgenland, access to agriculture was explored and interest in agricultural vocational schools and higher agricultural schools was assessed. The access to agriculture in Austria differs for students who do not speak German with their parents compared to those whose families speak German. Recommendations for the agricultural school system could be derived from this regarding the aforementioned students.
