MI-SIX: Operation Bernsteinzimmer

Spain 1943. A conspiratorial meeting between the German and Western intelligence services ends with a bold plan. A few months later, Hans von Grauwitz, a German cultural scientist living in Scotland, travels back to the German Reich. On behalf of the British MI6, he is to secure the Berlin imperial crowns for the coronation of the German Emperor and to bring the Russian Amber Room from Königsberg to the West for the future Empress. At the risk of his life, von Grauwitz succeeds in the coup with the crowns, but in Königsberg, East Prussia, he is met by the henchmen of the Secret State Police, an amber-obsessed museum director and a beautiful woman in thrall to National Socialism. Hardly arrived in the city, his last connection to London breaks off and he falls into a devious trap. In this, for him hopeless situation, he meets Luis.
