Maintaining balance, both for one's own body and for others in unusual positions, postures, and situations, is the characteristic and fascinating aspect of partner acrobatics as well as human formations and pyramid building. For the first time, this book presents the fundamentals of acrobatic training: targeted warm-ups, sensible training and exercise structures, assistance techniques, lifting and supporting techniques, and more. According to their movement structure, the acrobatic figures are classified into four basic techniques and are clearly illustrated in words and images. From these easily learnable techniques, a variety of variations arise, which together form the foundation of human formations and pyramid building. However, acrobatics only becomes an art form when already developed figures are refined from a design perspective.
