People in the caring professions far too rarely get to speak for themselves. What motivates them in their daily work? Who practices this profession? What does their everyday life look like? Norbert Nientiedt has had conversations with many carers and collected very personal impressions: from people who are still at the very beginning of their training as well as from practitioners who have seen and experienced a lot. The Cathedral Friends of Münster are committed to more attention and recognition for nursing and have awarded a prize to nursing staff in Münster for the first time in 2021. With his portraits and in cooperation with the initiative "Strong Care in Münster", Nientiedt, as a member of the Cathedral Friends, creates very special insights into everyday care and the individual motivation to choose this profession.
