Target level A1/1. Target group: adults and young people aged 16 and over with no previous knowledge of basic level courses. The lessons each comprise four pages and follow a transparent, recurring structure: each lesson begins with an interesting introductory situation, usually combined with an audio text, which introduces the topic of the lesson and arouses emotions and interest. On the following double page, based on the introductory situation, the new word fields, structures, and idioms are introduced and practiced using authentic reading and audio texts. The new word field of the lesson is prominently presented in the header as a picture lexicon that can be easily memorized. The final page includes writing practice, speaking practice, or mini-projects that reinforce the lesson material, and the structures and important phrases are clearly summarized.
