Mensch & Computer 2007

The Mensch & Computer conference series has been established since 2001 and takes place annually, focusing on interactive and cooperative media in the German language. Mensch & Computer 2007 is themed 'Human & Computer: Interaction in Plural'. The central focus is on the human being, who is supported by computers and other technologies in work, learning, and leisure. In a world where both humans and technology are increasingly interconnected, this conference aims to highlight the interaction among multiple people with and through multiple computers. The proceedings include scientific contributions, design presentations, system demonstrations, and posters on the following topics: conception and development, evaluation and experimentation, interaction, cooperative work and context, analysis and design of multimedia systems, interactive systems for children, metaphors, ontologies and design, navigation and presentation, visualization and representation, developer tools, cooperation and ubiquity, learning, teaching, and storytelling. The target audience includes researchers and practitioners in the field of human-computer interaction from areas such as computer science, psychology, media design, ergonomics, sociology, and marketing.
