This book is an honest autobiography. Christiane grows up in emotionally barren relationships, gets involved with a motorbike gang as a teenager, is pressured into a traumatic abortion at fifteen and despairs of finding life.
But she experiences an astonishing development: through a work colleague who unselfconsciously keeps recounting sermons to her, she finds her way to the Christian faith. The previous gloomy tone of her life dissolves. She makes new friends and joins a lively student group.
But then she has a serious accident in a traffic accident - and the doctors give up on her. At this point a miracle happens ...
