Through experience-orientated creative Bible work, they discover references to their own lives in biblical stories and Christian traditions. Rainer Francs and Astrid Thiele-Petersen take the relevant experiences of this phase of life as their starting point and ask which biblical and Christian texts, topics and rituals open up opportunities for young people to develop their idea of meaning in life. In addition to the approach of life relevance and its connection with biblical traditions to symbolic experience, the book also describes and introduces methods of performance and design. The practical part offers 25 units on different life experiences of young people - from detachment, recognition and fear to self-confidence, trust and anger - with Bible texts and creative methods.
