Getting to know your own body and recognizing its abilities and special features is a fascinating experience for children. In the 'My Body' learning workshop, pupils explore the various organs, the skeleton, blood circulation, breathing, and digestion. A game on the topic of blood circulation rounds off the learning workshop.

Our body is a fascinating, complex system. In this learning workshop, children use child-friendly worksheets to learn where various organs are located and what functions they have. Additionally, they engage with their own bodies in a very concrete way: What do I actually look like? How can I measure my blood pressure? How does my brain react to certain stimuli? Pupils learn how digestion works and how important water is for the body. They discover how the brain, respiration, and blood circulation function. A variety of methods is emphasized here, as this learning workshop also offers a lot methodically: In addition to reading texts, puzzles, and games, the children make a skeleton puppet, a lung with the help of a bottle, and even a heart out of modeling clay.

The material includes a routing slip that enables the pupils to keep track of their work at all times. Task cards provide the children with understandable work assignments. The 28 stations are accompanied by versatile station sheets with reading texts, games, craft instructions, puzzles, and much more. To allow the children to check their work independently, there are solutions for all stations where concrete results are worked out.
