Anne Wöstheinrich, Dipl. Designer, born in 1969 in Beckum, studied Illustration and Graphic Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Münster. For the past 13 years, she has been working as a freelance illustrator for children's, youth, and school books for various publishers.

The new workshop series focused on factual content for the 3rd and 4th grades builds on the successful Anton & Zora workshop series (1st/2nd grades) and simultaneously offers a new age-appropriate workshop concept. Three workshop components enable a holistic open teaching approach that gives children the space to independently discover and explore content according to their interests and needs: With the "Research" component, children have the opportunity to pursue their own interests related to the workshop topic and explore their self-chosen research theme in depth. Through 25 interdisciplinary "workshop tasks," they independently engage with the central theme, examining it from all angles in a hands-on, experimental, and playful manner. Activities in the classroom are an important part of the workshop teaching. The "Joint Phases" component includes numerous suggestions on how the teacher can appropriately design these activities. Each workshop contains detailed teaching instructions and comprehensive explanations of the three components, along with an extensive materials section that allows for an immediate start to workshop work.
