Mehrsprachigkeit und Gehirnforschung

The multilingual brain and its functioning can probably only be understood through interdisciplinary work. The researchers from different scientific fields jointly deal with the questions of representation, processing and promotion of languages in the brain. This book deals with the topic of the interdependence of multilingualism and brain research and offers an overview of the current state of research from the research methods to the implementation of the knowledge gained through the research into the teaching methods. Special emphasis was placed on the factors influencing the language acquisition process: age, motivation and emotions.
