Diversity in media education means reaching and supporting all children and young people. Especially in the context of inclusion and integration, it is necessary to consider different needs and life situations, which in turn requires diverse media educational pathways. In a society shaped by digitalization, media education plays a special role in accompanying all children and young people as they grow up, opening up opportunities for them to develop critical thinking skills and minimize risks. Realizing media education against this backdrop throughout the entire education chain is an enormous process. To initiate and promote this, this volume presents a collection of theoretical approaches to inclusion and integration as well as proven practical methods. The contributions demonstrate how children and young people can be supported.
