Product details
For the prominent German Expressionism collector Lothar-Günther Buchheim, he was one of the best graphic artists of all time: the Berlin artist Max Kaus (1891-1977). After World War I, Max Kaus created an impressive body of print graphics that is hardly known to the public today due to the rarity of the prints. After years of research, the time has come: In spring 2016, the catalog raisonné of the artist's print graphics will be published. It includes all lithographs, woodcuts, and etchings from around 1918 to the 1970s: a fascinating insight into the work of this significant Expressionist, who has fallen out of the public eye.
