Friedrich Glauser, born on 4 February 1896 in Vienna. The mother was Austrian, the father Swiss. His life was marked by restlessness, countless places and stations lined his path: schools in Switzerland and Austria, reformatories, prisons and psychiatric clinics. Friedrich Glauser lived in France, Belgium and Italy, was addicted to morphine for a long time, spent several years in the Foreign Legion and took part in the Dadaist movement in Zurich. He died on 8 December 1938 in Nervi near Genoa.
