The focus of the subject of performing arts lies in the practical testing and experience of theatrical means. Often, performances arise from the lessons that enrich school life. This volume offers material for three self-created, practice-tested plays for the modern school stage.

With a duration of 40-45 minutes each, the plays are kept within a manageable framework. This allows for engagement with the content as well as practical testing in class without time pressure.

The material provides everything needed for a successful performance: play descriptions offer an initial overview, details on set design and props, as well as roles and costumes complete the staging guidelines. The sets can be realized with minimal time and financial preparation. Each play comes with a detailed script that includes an overview of roles, dialogue, and stage directions.

To involve all students in the performance, many roles are not strictly gender-specific and can also be cast multiple times.
