Was wird aus Religion?

What will become of religion? There are extensive theories that usually end in "ization": secularization, pluralization, individualization... These are perspectives from a bird's-eye view. But what does the transformation feel like up close, from the viewpoint of those for whom their religion truly matters? How do they experience the religious change, the transformations in the architecture of the religious? How disorienting is it? How disappointing? How liberating, perhaps? In which direction is the development pointing? Will binding beliefs still play a role? Will religion only be of aesthetic or even folkloric interest? Might religion be understood more as an expression of strong emotions and intuitions? Or, more practically, primarily as an impulse for a practice of charity and solidarity? Based on observations.
