Mathematik trainieren: Brüche, Funktionen und Co.

This course allows students in STEM fields to practice fundamental mathematics skills and refresh school material just before starting their studies. The content focuses on the most important areas and concepts that one should bring to their studies: fractions, equations, inequalities, laws of exponents and roots, laws of logarithms, elementary functions of a real variable and their dependence on parameters, trigonometric functions, and polar coordinates. Unlike a traditional textbook, the theoretical foundations are summarized briefly and concisely, and then immediately explained with worked examples. Central to each chapter are numerous exercises and tests with corresponding solutions, enabling the reader to assess their own skills. Solving the tasks also emphasizes developing an efficient approach.
