Product details
The new student book "Mathematics Competently" is designed for the third cycle of the Lehrplan21 curriculum and invites students to discover, learn, practice, and take action. A clear structure divides each chapter into five sections:
1. Each chapter begins with a learning environment as an introduction. After an open double page, students can explore real-life application situations. Additionally, a short entrance test is provided for each chapter, allowing students to independently check whether they possess the required competencies. The corresponding solutions can be found at the end of the book. If needed, they are referred to further assistance and tasks in the self-assessment table.
2. Next, fundamental content is developed, reinforcing students' basic concepts through structured practice tasks. The tasks are differentiated into three levels and clearly marked. Important definitions, key statements, and examples are highlighted.
3. The compact knowledge section contains important results and useful procedures from the chapter in the form of a formula collection, marked according to the required level.
4. Practice and deepening support sustainable learning. Learning opportunities are offered at three levels. The acquired knowledge is applied to simple, challenging, and problem-based tasks.
5. With the competency tests, offered at the end of the chapter at two levels, students can independently check whether they have acquired the competencies taught in the chapter. In the self-assessment table, they are referred to further assistance and tasks if needed. The solutions are available for self-checking at the end of the book.
The review section at the end of the book contains basic knowledge and practice tasks from previous school years.
