This book consists of four separate parts. Chapter I is dedicated to questions related to the quadratic trinomial. Chapter II addresses the geometric representation of various averages and their comparison. Chapter III deals with the classification of equations based on the different methods used to solve them. Chapter IV covers topics in number theory. The main idea that guided the author of this book was to write a few small stories in different areas of mathematics. Each story consists of two parts: theory and exercises that must be solved independently, with the theory often introduced in small steps through the solution of successive exercises. Each of the presented exercises is complemented by a complete solution.
