For the fourth time, "Math with the Kangaroo" is being published. This volume contains the most interesting and beautiful problems that were to be solved in the context of the international Kangaroo Mathematics Competition from 2012 to 2014.

The aim of the Kangaroo competition is to spark children's and young people's interest in mathematics. The stimulating and motivating problems, often set in the students' everyday lives, demonstrate that mathematics is interesting and not at all dry. Participants – children and young people from all types of schools – engage with enthusiasm and joy, often year after year. The fun of mathematics is at the center, and in the end, there are only winners.

The Kangaroo competition has been around for over 20 years – and it is no longer just in Europe, where it all began. Students in Asia, America, and Africa also tackle the diverse, lovingly designed multiple-choice problems once a year.
