Identifying and Closing Gaps

The "mathbook IF" is aimed at regular teachers as well as support or IF teachers who instruct students with learning difficulties in mathematics. It offers a wealth of tasks to address missing prerequisites and to enhance understanding of mathematical content at the lower secondary level—especially concerning volumes 1 and 2 of the "mathbook."

Customized Learning Steps

The "mathbook IF" is compact. It is aligned with the reduced minimum requirements of the Curriculum 21 and the competency goals of vocational training programs. Students with special support needs work with the same textbook as their class. They do not require a separate workbook; instead, they use the photocopiable templates from the "mathbook IF" with adapted learning steps.

Structure

The "mathbook IF" consists of a companion volume with background information and an extensive practical section featuring step-by-step instructions, photocopiable templates (445 pages), and solutions in the "IF" area, as well as online calculation training IF with around 1,500 simplified tasks and download options for practice series in the "Practice" area.
