This exercise book for the well-established textbook Machine Dynamics by Dresig/Holzweißig facilitates the understanding of machine dynamics. It offers a total of 70 exercises for all topics covered in the textbook. For typical tasks, analytical methods are presented as well as modern software is used for the solution. Real parameter values are given for many problems, but the solution method and results can be generalized for larger classes of problems. The reader is supported by references to further literature. In the second edition, 10 new problems have been added and numerous improvements have been made to the existing problems.
