And then there are the berries: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries… After the success of her cookbooks "Nail Polish and Rösti" and "Fat Loot," Mary Frener presents her third cookbook "Mary Miso." The idea for the book came quickly: the longer Mary Frener works as a chef, the less interested she becomes in meat. What makes a meal what it truly is, is what accompanies it. Always new, always different. "Mary Miso" is therefore a cookbook entirely without meat, where the so-called "side dishes" become the main stars. No one is meant to be converted to vegetarianism; Mary Frener is not a vegetarian herself. Rather, she wants to show how diverse, varied, and yet simple it can be for anyone to cook without meat.
