This much-cited, case law-oriented commentary has set a high quality standard thanks to its well-founded, precise argumentation. About the new edition
The 4th edition is the work of a team of 14 authors.
It deals in particular with the implementation of Directive (EU) 2015/2436 by the Trademark Law Modernisation Act (MaMoG), the last stage of which came into force in 2020,the amendments to the Trademark Act coming into force on 1 May 2022 by the 2nd Trademark Law Modernisation Act (MaMoG). The amendments include the amendments to Section 19 of the Trade Mark Act by the Telecommunications Modernisation Act and to Section 134 of the Trade Mark Act by the 4th Act amending the German Food and Feed Code (LFGB) and other provisions.The adaptation of copyright law to the requirements of the digital single market is also taken into account.
