Marburger Konzentrationstraining (MKT) für Kindergarten,Vorschule und Eingangsstufe

The Marburg Concentration Training (MKT) for kindergarten and preschool children is designed for use in kindergartens, preschools, and in working with developmentally delayed children when attention disorders and behavioral difficulties become apparent at an early stage. Children suspected of having ADD or ADHD particularly benefit from the training materials. The duration of the training is approximately eight hours or a daily practice session of 30 minutes over six weeks. The folder contains specific non-verbal instructions for the children and detailed guidelines for the trainers. The training can be easily conducted by kindergarten teachers, occupational and learning therapists, special education teachers, and educators. Additionally, the folder includes numerous motivating game suggestions to promote concentration, verbal expression, and group skills. The materials enhance perceptual accuracy, train memory skills, and improve fine motor skills. They provide excellent preparation for school and can also help compensate for deficits and developmental delays. For therapeutic work, five accompanying parent evenings with material suggestions are also described. The materials were developed in practice and tested in several kindergartens and preschool classes.
