Mar de historias

Cristina Pacheco, born in the Mexican state of Guanajuato and raised in Mexico City, is one of the most well-known journalists and television hosts in Mexico. Since 1986, she has published a column titled "Mar de historias" - "Sea of Stories" in the Sunday edition of the newspaper 'La Jornada'. It covers scenes from everyday life in Mexico, relationship crises and conflicts, jealousy, violence, generational conflicts, women's issues, and the often illegal labor migration to the United States.
