Manager-Demographie, bestimmende Indikatoren und finanzielle Leistung
German, Arnety Makokha, Michael Okumu, 2020Product details
The book addresses the influence of demographic information about managers on the relationship between financial determinants and the financial performance of commercial banks in Kenya. The determinants examined include credit information exchange, risk management practices, portfolio diversification, collateral for portfolio diversification, and demographic information about managers (educational background, tenure, and salary of managers) as a moderating variable, along with financial performance measured by profitability. It was found that despite the determining indicators affecting the financial performance of commercial banks in Kenya, the influence was accelerated when the demographic information of the manager was considered as a moderating factor. The implication of the findings is that institutions should view managers as assets of the organization, as they significantly impact financial performance. This book will be useful for university students at all levels, including both undergraduate and graduate students (Master's and PhD).
