Maigret und der Spitzel

After an evening with his good friend Doctor Pardon, Maigret is called to Montmartre at two o'clock in the morning. The body of a man has been found, a former brothel owner who now runs a posh restaurant. However, it seems that his connections in the milieu have not been completely severed - an anonymous informant gives Maigret a hot tip. Do the dead man's young widow and her lover, who earns his living by not entirely legal means, have anything to do with the murder? Maigret travels all the way to the Côte d'Azur to uncover the solution, because the funeral of the great innkeeper is also attended by the region's gangsters.
