Maigret beim Treffen der Neufundlandfahrer

The fishing steamer Océan seems to have been struck by a curse: first, a sailor breaks his leg, then a cabin boy falls overboard, and upon arriving in port, it is discovered that half of the cod on board has spoiled. Shortly thereafter, the ship's captain is found murdered. A former school friend asks Maigret to get involved in the investigation. Without hesitation, the inspector moves his vacation with his wife from Alsace to Normandy. Maigret's ninth case takes place in Fécamp and Yport on the Norman coast.
