Magnetismus

In this workshop, everything revolves around the exciting and captivating topic of magnetism. Just like in a real workshop, everyone works on different tasks, but all centered around the same theme. The process of discovery is just as important as acquiring knowledge about magnetism: understanding how a compass works, discovering magnets in our environment, exploring and developing magnetic properties, searching for magnetic materials, and recognizing that even our Earth is a giant magnet. Since the results of the work are always documented, many opportunities for writing and reading arise. Thanks to the open working method of the workshop, each child can be supported according to their learning level. This leads to a subject-oriented, interdisciplinary teaching approach with the themed copy templates.

Age group: for 1st and 2nd grade, in grade classes or mixed-age classes (basic or introductory level, school entry phase)

Content: each 80 pages with 20 workshop tasks – including corresponding task cards, worksheets (partly in different difficulty levels), preparation and work instructions, workshop introduction with learning objectives, focus, and curriculum reference, supplementary materials with blank templates, workshop pass, colorful, laminated reading cards, and game templates.
