Alcohol. Love. Revolution. A father asks his son to work as a trainee on the construction of a car tunnel for the sake of his career. This causes the first-person narrator's previous life goals to disappear and, back at university, he fills the resulting void with alcohol. After an odyssey through his own psyche, the realisation comes over him: the path can only be a meander, the only possible destination is the sea. While the strength of love liberates him inwardly, the signs in the world point to revolution - and the first-person narrator will be at its forefront ...
