Product details

Five Prussian occupation officers have taken up residence in a castle in Normandy during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71. One of the officers, due to his feminine appearance, is nicknamed Mademoiselle Fifi. Eventually, the officers summon girls from the village, who are helplessly subjected to Fifi's sadism, until one of the girls fights back violently. The collection published by Guy de Maupassant in 1882 includes the well-known title story along with all 17 other tales from the original edition.
