Product details
In the mid-1960s, television presenter Hans Mohl gained particular notoriety among the German medical community. Each day after his show "Gesundheitsmagazin Praxis," doctors claimed to notice an increase in patients presenting with the exact symptoms discussed the night before. This phenomenon was henceforth referred to as "Morbus Mohl." But is it really possible for us to feel unwell after consuming health reporting? Can it even prompt us to visit a doctor? And if this effect supposedly occurred with a single health magazine in the 60s, what does it look like today with the abundance of television programs, newspaper and magazine articles, radio contributions, and health portals on the internet? Do the media make us ill?.
