Harper Reynolds didn't switch from crime scene photography to nature photography without reason. However, death seems to follow her: while wandering through the forests of Wyoming to photograph a black bear in the wild, she accidentally captures a murder on camera! Unfortunately, she loses her camera while fleeing from the killer, leaving no evidence of the crime. When the local police close the case, Harper begins her own investigation, joined by her childhood friend Heath McKade. Neither of them has any idea of the dark secrets they will uncover – and how far each will go for the other.
