Brigitte Guschlbauer experiences an incredible break in her life in 2006: A severe septic shock with multiple organ failure throws her completely off course. She spent four months in intensive care, six weeks of which in a coma. A few years later, she begins to share her experience. She tells of returning from near-death, of hallucinations and irritations, of being fed, of communication that can only take place through the eyes and of the incredible happiness of drinking water herself again after a long time.
