Lyrics!

"Texts!" is an invitation to engage with important types of texts. This German teaching resource contains a wide variety of texts from the private, educational, and professional worlds of learners. The range includes literary (narrative, fairy tales), journalistic (interview, report, column), factual (informational text, object description), and informative (protocol, resume) texts, as well as forms of non-verbal communication (graphics, collage). "Texts!" encourages communication that is audience- and topic-oriented. The teaching material provides guidance on selecting the appropriate text type and on how to create them. Additionally, methods of text analysis and reception are explained. "Texts!" is designed as a reference work: the over 60 text types are organized alphabetically. The examples on the left page are complemented by additional information on the corresponding right page.
