It is well known that many classic fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm, such as Snow White or Cinderella, are more gruesome in their original form than they are in modern children's books. However, the brothers penned even bloodier stories. This book contains some of the lesser-known, dark, and macabre tales from the Grimms' collection, which adults likely only told each other after the children were already in bed.
