Loeliger Strub – Architektur Dichten

Loeliger Strub Architektur, founded in 1999 in Zurich, has been shaping the discourse of Swiss residential construction with its designs for years. Their work is the result of tireless attempts, constant new beginnings, and inquiries that condense into a playful discourse about the overall ensemble. A two-part exhibition of the office in 2023 provided an opportunity to engage with fundamental questions of residential culture and to examine the significance of specific living areas and actions through their own buildings and projects.

This book was created as a working tool in the development process of the exhibitions. Against the backdrop of their concepts, it offers insights into the working methodology of Loeliger Strub Architektur. In 15 fold-out sections, living spaces and core themes are richly illustrated through various projects and references. The texts, based on conversations and ranging from literary excursions to personal memories, unfold a poetic cosmos and reveal the foundations and thought processes of Loeliger Strub Architektur.
