A plethora of guidebooks cater to newly in love couples. But what about those who have been together for a longer or really long time? A longer relationship always raises fundamental questions - whether the partners are in their thirties, forties or fifties. Around two-thirds of all couples feel insecure in their relationship, they deal - openly or secretly - with the question of whether they want to continue living like this. But who gives up a relationship of many years, explains the physician and best-selling author Werner Bartens, gives up a treasure of common ground, experiences and familiarity, which the couple has collected in years. And healthier one lives in pairs anyway, as the research knows, in addition happier and, differently than the convinced single perhaps means: with substantially more sex.
