Product details

Spring 2039. Liv, who was convicted of manslaughter, is released on probation from the rehabilitation center Sternfeld. She moves into a small apartment in Berlin and takes on the coaching of an innovative service robot. Through a screen, she assists the android Zoe in caring for Benjamin, who suffers from Alzheimer's. Zoe proves to be the perfect caregiver and is virtually indistinguishable from a human. Neither the elderly man nor his suddenly appearing grandson Erik, who is a leading figure in the protest movement against robots, suspect anything about the experiment. Initially, Liv hesitates to engage actively in the android's system. However, she gradually succumbs to the pull of merging with Zoe. The emerging dynamics in the field of robot development are likely to profoundly change our society. Robots will play a role in everyday life in the future.
