Within the scope of this work, various cathode coatings were developed with the LFP: Life Power® P2 from Clariant AG and their homogeneity was optimized. For this purpose, the mixing process and dispersion were varied to improve homogeneity. The importance of the solids content as a regulator was also investigated in order to obtain a uniform cathode film with the highest possible loading. Subsequently, the cell construction up to the finished full cell (Bicell) was commissioned and optimized on a laboratory scale on industrially manufactured electrodes. After commissioning of the half-cells, some experiments were carried out with the industrially manufactured cathodes to better understand the electrochemical behavior.
