Literaturprojekt zu "Sams Wal"

Whales, the giants of the seas, always trigger a special fascination in children. This is also the case with the boy Sam, who finds a stranded, but still living and particularly rare pygmy sperm whale on the beach. Sam has to help the whale: a difficult fight for the survival of the animal begins. This gripping children's book offers a literary and at the same time educational approach to the subject of whales: In the various work assignments accompanying the reading, the children deal creatively and critically with the book's content. In an integrative way, elaborated templates for creative writing, grammar and spelling (with suggestions for assessment) are offered. The factual teaching of the habitat of whales, whaling, animal protection and the various species of whales forms an independent area. This can alternatively be offered as a developed, interdisciplinary subject.
