Product details

The French naval officer and writer Pierre Loti (1850 - 1923) wrote numerous novels, many of which became bestsellers in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as several travel books. In this work, he describes his journey through Persia in the form of diary entries: "Whoever wishes to come with me and see the time of the rose bloom in Isfahan, let him decide to walk slowly in stages by my side, just as in the Middle Ages." (Preface) Reprint of the original German edition.
