Gynt

The actress Johanna Hatt in Vienna reflects on her role as the lover Solveig in "Peer Gynt" at the Burgtheater while waiting for her friend Daniel Tauber. He is on his way from Switzerland, where he is directing "Peer Gynt" with young people. There, students, a teacher, her father, and other participants get caught up in the pull of the theater and the play. Just like in Peer Gynt's famous image of the onion, Peter Höners' novel approaches the center layer by layer.
