How we master the tasks of life that we do not want. Miriam Höller has always lived on the edge – until life showed her harsh limits. Known as one of the few stuntwomen in Germany, host of the motor magazine Grip, and a participant in Germany’s Next Topmodel, she was more of a tomboy than a princess as a child. Even in her life planning, she leaves nothing to chance: ridiculed as a teenager for her dream of becoming a stuntwoman, she secured her first professional engagement at 18 and founded her own stunt team in her mid-20s. Her trademark becomes the unique combination of aesthetics and action. However, even the greatest success does not protect against injustice. Suddenly, she faces two tragic blows in succession: after breaking both feet during a helicopter stunt in high heels, her career comes to a sudden halt. Shortly thereafter, her life partner dies in a helicopter crash.
