Life cycle costing of real estate 1. model
German, IFMA Switzerland, 20109 pieces in stock at supplier
Product details
The IFMA Switzerland (International Facility Management Association) has developed a model for determining the life cycle costs of real estate in collaboration with representatives from GEFMA (German Facility Management Association). The cost analysis across the various life cycle phases aligns with a holistic approach that incorporates the entire life cycle of a property into decision-making processes. The integration of key figures from different life cycle phases of a building prevents one-sided optimization, for example, concerning construction costs and operating costs. Life cycle costs can be used as a metric for comparing and optimizing investment decisions as well as building planning. Part 1 of the model (brochure, 36 pages) explains the scope of application and the fundamentals of life cycle costs.
