Lieder, Spiele & Reime zur Babyzeichensprache

On the way to language - with baby signs and music, it's child's play! Children benefit from songs and verses accompanied by movements or, even better, specific uniform signs from baby to preschool age. The selection of songs in the Zwergensprache courses and on this CD is based on the rich treasure of traditionally passed-down melodies and verses. They are rhythmic and melodic, easy to grasp, short in text, and thrive on building tension and repetition. Enhance the songs with baby signs! Support the words and content of the songs through accompanying gestures and movements to make them visible and playfully accessible for the children. Music, just like baby signs, has an incredible potential to capture children's attention. This collection features the most popular songs, games, and rhymes as a companion to the Zwergensprache courses, for home and on the go. The CD includes 33 tracks with a total playtime of approximately 35 minutes, which can musically accompany a wide range of interactions and rituals with the little ones throughout the day. In this project, 12 small and large individuals from various generations of several families participated. Additionally, over 15 different instruments provide a versatile and varied musical backdrop with exciting sounds. A small accompanying booklet offers suggestions for suitable play ideas. The descriptions of the corresponding baby signs can be found in the textbooks 'Little Dictionary of Baby Signs' and 'The Big Book of Baby Signs' or on posters. For each CD sold, €1.00 goes to the Bärenherz Foundation, which supports the work for severely ill children through the Zwergensprache network.
