The various collection areas include masterpieces of European art from five centuries. The themes range from mythological and religious subjects to interior scenes, landscapes, portraits, and still lifes. In addition to approximately 1,700 paintings, there are also selected Italian bronzes, stunning tapestries, interiors, and exquisite artisanal works. The presentation of the objects is embedded in the collection's history that spans centuries, as well as the changing exhibition venues and concepts, revealing the character of this unique family collection.
